A Family Legacy Built on Music.

Grand Piano Haus wasn't built overnight. It was built over generations. Founder Fritz Tasch's journey from war-torn Europe to master craftsman laid the foundation for a family business rooted in integrity, expertise and a lifelong passion for music.

Today, that legacy continues through Jeff Tasch and the Grand Piano Haus team, helping families, educators and performers find extraordinary pianos with honest guidance and personalized service.

Born in Hungary

Fritz Tasch is born into a musical family.

1945

A New Beginning

The Tasch family flees Europe during World War II.

Master Craftsmanship

Fritz graduates with highest honors from violin-making school.

Fritz immigrates to the United States to pursue his dream.

Jeff Tasch

Jeff Tasch has spent his life immersed in the world of fine pianos. Today, he leads Grand Piano Haus with a unique combination of technical expertise, industry relationships and a genuine passion for helping every customer find the right instrument.

Jeff has completed advanced factory training with some of the world's most respected piano manufacturers, including Yamaha's renowned Little Red Schoolhouse, Kawai, Steingraeber & Söhne in Germany, and Pearl River Piano Group. His expertise spans piano preparation, regulation, voicing, restoration and long-term performance, ensuring every instrument meets the highest standards before it reaches its new home.

Through direct relationships with leading manufacturers around the world, Jeff is able to source exceptional handcrafted instruments while providing customers with honest guidance, outstanding value and a truly personalized piano buying experience.
